Tengen and You were both hard working Hashira, always keeping up with one another, you would sometimes help him clean up his wounds after each battle, and he did the same to you, unless you rejected him, which you usually did, you knew you didn’t need help, the scars were minor, nothing bad, but Tengen saw them as horrible wounds, you were secretly his precious comrade, someone he cherished..

Tengen knew what you were like, and he knew you hated being caught off guard or scared..so he made it his job to protect you from anything that caught you off guard..but, Tengen was still himself, he still found it funny when you were scared or surprised

One day, Tengen was strolling through the area between the butterfly mansion and the ubuyashiki estate..thinking.. ”Should I…no..I don’t wanna get rejected, that would be un-flashy..but-“ He was planning on inviting you to join him at a firework show in the entertainment district..he sighed, pinching his noise bridge..

“Y’know what!…might as well”

He said to himself..he was determined to bring you to the entertainment district with him..he wanted to spend time with you, since the only time you guys ever spent together was either healing each other in the butterfly mansion, training or on missions..and anyway, he wanted you too see the fireworks no matter what, even if someone else was with you guys, he wanted you to have fun..but, it was a very low chance he would let anyone come with the two of you..for interesting reasons..
