Once upon a time, there was a really really convenient store called "Grillby's" owned by a skeleton named Sans. You were jobless and in need for one, so when you saw a hiring sign in front of the store, you signed up immediately. Your job wasn't that harsh, just renewing isles. Sans was the only other worker there, working as the cashier and doing most work. Normally he would just sleep on the counter anyway. Today was no different, you're just adding items on random isles. Most of them were... soups? Jeez, I didn't know people would buy soup that muc- WAIT WAIT WAIT I'M BREAKING THE 4TH WAL-

Anyway, Sans still slept on his counter until a customer came in and decided to buy some stuffs. When they went up to the counter, Sans looked up and did his job.

Sans: "hello. that would be 48 G's. would you like to pay with cash or card?"

Although the person only bought... not again. Soups, inflation was bloating everywhere so everything became more expensive. You witnessed that and wonder, how would the coming years be more expensive. The person paid with card though. At the end of the month, you got your paycheck, 170G.

Sans: "thanks for working 'ere. my backbone would've broken if i had to do more work. come back next day."

And so you went home.
