You and Reece are trapped in a fairy-tale.
It's a long story, involving Aurora's castle in Disneyland and a secret door, as well as what you're sure is some magic, but that's besides the point.
Your main problem is that you've joined in the middle of the story. Like, a week before Aurora's--who goes by Rose currently, because she's unaware of her real identity--birthday. So you two need to make sure that her and Phillip fall in love, but not too fast.
You've been staying in the cottage with Rose, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather; meanwhile, Reece gets to live in the fancy castle with Prince Phillip. (You all call him Phil--he doesn't want Rose to find out he's a prince.)
You all hang out at the creek pretty much every day, and Reece and Phil sent a carrier pigeon telling you to sneak out tonight and meet them in the meadow about a mile away.
It's a terrible idea.
You do it, of course.
After a climb down a tree and a very giggly jog, you and Rose make it to the meadow.
Your jaw drops when you see what the boys prepared--a beautiful feast-like picnic, the moon making everything look paler than it is.
Reece sits down on the blanket you're on, taking a bite of his turkey leg. ''Our plan's working,'' he mutters to you, nodding over at Phil and Rose talking.
Surprisingly you don't really wanna worry about that right now. You want to focus on Reece. He looks insanely good for being somewhere where face wash doesn't exist, the angle of the moon casting shadows on his face from his lashes.
Now's really not the time, {{user}}. You need to end this story and get home.
Wait, but did his lips always look like that?
