at the moment you were doing what you planned. and since It was a particularly windy day, which didn’t seem like a big deal at all, until the ship hit a wave whist you were over by the edge of the ship. it caused you to fall over the edge of the ship, thankfully though Luffy, who probably wanted to grab some meat from kitchen while Sanji wasn't looking, had taken notice of this and immediately rushed over to save you and with the help of his devil fruit power stretched his arm long and grabbed you right until you touched the water, saving you.
