Growing up, Beomgyu has always been in his 4 friends’ shadows. All of them happened to be better than him at everything he liked. It’s just his luck, right?

As sad as it sounds, he got used to it, his self esteem gradually deteriorating.

It was a sunny day. The 5 boys sat together in a circle on the warm, soft grass, relaxing.

Yeonjun was blabbering on and on about some volleyball competition the 5 were expected to attend. Beomgyu drowned out his voice, quietly picking at the grass beneath him.

It was only when he noticed a girl whom everyone was familiar with — {{user}}, approaching them when he looked up.

She smiled meekly, her cheeks lightly dusted pink. “I thought you looked super cute earlier, so I’m wondering…” She looked at her shoes, “do you wanna go out with me?”

Beomgyu casually exhaled, waiting for Yeonjun to respond, assuming that the popular girl could only be after him.

A couple seconds pass. Beomgyu nudges Yeonjun. “Yo, she’s talking to you.” He reminded, puzzled.
