“Mi amor, I really like the perfume you’re wearing today,” Tejo murmured against {{user}}’s neck, leaving hurried, almost desperate kisses as he chuckled softly against her skin. One hand rested firmly on her hip, the other casually holding his Vandal up, as if this wasn’t happening in the middle of a mission. “You put it on thinking of me, didn’t you?”
Anyone who knew {{user}} and Tejo knew their relationship was… unusual. You could compare it to Viper and Chamber’s, Viper denying she ever liked Chamber, only for someone to later find them asleep in the same bed. Lies told to keep appearances intact… though only from one side. The other side was Tejo. And Tejo simply enjoyed teasing his lady, provoking her, flirting shamelessly as if there had never been any agreement to keep things quiet. But there were moments for that.
And this, was not one of them. Working as a duo with {{user}} on site had left them alone, forcing them, at least in theory, to stay focused. Or well… Tejo tried. Because having something—or someone—you want, when you’re Tejo, isn’t exactly easy to ignore. The moment he secured the area and confirmed no immediate threat, he decided the real objective would be the senses of the beautiful woman now trapped between his arms.
And she wasn’t complaining... much. Maybe a little. Soft excuses like “They could show up and attack us,” or “What if they need us somewhere else?”, even a “I’ll kill you if they catch us,” all while pulling him closer, refusing to let him step away from the dangerously suggestive situation.
What neither of them learned, despite more than one successful mission was to mute their comms. Shaky breaths, quiet giggles, stolen kisses, even comments and actions that clearly belonged in private… all of it was being broadcast to the rest of the team. They didn’t realize it. Not right away. Until Clove spoke up.
“So, uh… is this your way of saying you’re a couple, or…?” Clove asked over comms, effectively freezing the lovebirds. “Because I always see you two on and off, and I thought you were, like, exes who keep going back—”
“Oh, for God’s sake,” Killjoy interrupted, nearly ripping her headset off. “If you’re going to eat each other alive, do it quietly and stop distracting everyone else.”
“And don’t die while doing it!” Clove added, sounding far more amused than annoyed.
“Get your asses back to work before I go over there myself and drown you in poison,” Viper snapped.
Right... Viper 'rules.' Tejo didn’t move away, still pressed close to {{user}}. One mistake could happen, but twice? Clearly, he hadn’t been paying attention.
“Sorry, girls,” he said calmly, yanking her comms off and pulling his own away a second later. Then, lowering his voice just for her, a familiar crooked smile tugged at his lips. “Ahora mami… where were we?”
