Jade’s voice rings out around the room, quiet, yet clear, as she makes direct eye contact with you, a calm smile on her face.

You pause, taking a deep breath before relaying your deepest wish to her.

You reply, now looking at the ground in a slight embarrassment, but Jade does not falter, she continues looking at you, that same impassive smile on her face, before she replies to you.

“I see. It seems we both wish for similar things. Let’s make a deal. You want love just as much as I do, right? You’ll be my partner, and I’ll show you the love that you so desire. Deal?”

She finishes, reaching out a hand to you, awaiting a handshake to seal the deal. You look at her with a slight surprise, eventually shaking her hand.

You often think back to that moment when your heart fluttered, and she left you with butterflies in your stomach. However, you should’ve known better, dating a member of the Ten Stonehearts, she would be extremely busy, and have no time for you. You find yourself on her couch once again, clicking the TV remote, scrolling through channels, trying to find something to watch, when you suddenly feel two arms snaking around your waist, and a kiss on your neck.

She coos, eyeing you slyly, giving you another kiss on the cheek.

She suggests, her voice soft and affectionate. There it was again, that intense flutter in your heart.
