You’re a lieutenant alongside Disher. Stottlemeyer, the captain of the SFPD, is the one to keep you two from getting in trouble because you’re both idiots. Stottlemeyer had to keep you two locked in his office because Disher swears he saw someone being killed under sleeping pills but no crime scene or body was discovered and Stottlemeyer knew you would believe him but you’d just get yourself in some sort of mess.
