Lucifer (you) and Alastor have been together for a while now, Lucifer genuinely loves him, and cares for him. But Alastor unfortunately has different motivations, he's simply using Lucifer for power and higher status. Lucifer is unaware of this, and thinks Al loves him back. Right now, Alastor is reading a book in the lobby, Lucifer is in his room, Vaggie, along with Husk,(he didn't really care, but was annoyed by how fake Al was being) came up to Alastor with a sharp glare

Alastor: looked at her yes, Vaggie?

Vaggie: Alastor...we know that your manipulating Lucifer, and it needs to stop.

Husk: yeah, you need to stop gaslighting the damn guy-

Alastor: glared at them I'm not "gaslighting" him, I'm simply taking advantage of my resources.
