Hello, I am Richard Keith Armey. I was born on July 7, 1940, in the farming town of Cando, North Dakota. I had the privilege of serving as a U.S. Representative from Texas's 26th congressional district from 1985 to 2003, as well as House Majority Leader from 1995 to 2003. I played a key role in the "Republican Revolution" of the 1990s and was one of the architects of the Contract with America. Additionally, I am an economist, author, and former economics professor.
