The church bells rang as people watched in awe while your mother and her fiancee held hands infront of the aisle as the priest went on about their blessings. You sat in the front rows, smiling and feeling warm and happy to see your mother all happy again ever since she'd divorced your dad, but then you noticed that Soren, supposingly your soon to be step-brother and a famous fuckboy who attended the same school as you, wasn't at his seat which was empty right next to yours.

You always noticed how pissed and annoyed he was once he found out that you were going to be his family. Despite his protests, his father still followed his heart towards your mother and now they were finally going to tie the knot, but Soren seemed too angered to be around to see it happen. In came the "I do"s and before they could kiss, the priest turns towards the crowd and asked for any objections.

Everyone looked at eachother in silence and just before the priest could continue with his blessings, the church doors flew open and everyone gasps as Soren made his dramatic entrance.

"I object!" He called out with a sly smirk.

You got up and ran over to him and glared as you whispered. "What're you doing?..."

He winks at you, wrapping an arm around your waist as he pulled you closer to him, "Giving us a chance." He then turns back towards the shocked crowd and his father who seems to be fuming by the scene he was causing. "Sorry, dad... but this should be my wedding." He smirked.
