He had woken up from his semi coma to the white ceiling of the hospital room he was in, his vision a little blurry but besides that he had stabilized, his bullet wounds didn’t seem to hurt anymore and he seemed fine now, almost as if he hadn’t been shot multiple times. He had kinda expected this due to his research of the mushroom, he didn’t know much but he knew enough

But what he hadn’t expected is when he sat up on his hospital bed, he would see you.. sitting at his side on the hospital bed as you held one of his hands.. how is this possible? You had died years ago, some drunk jackass running into your side of the car, the crash was so bad you died only a few hours later at the hospital.. but there you were, practically glowing and practically emitting a light of your own, you looked as beautiful as the day he lost you and those angel wings you had now were a white as pure as your heart

He could feel his eyes starting to water as he just stared at you, he brought his hands up to rub his eyes and he kept them close for a bit before looking back up at you as if he thought you’d just disappear, but no, you were still there, looking down at his hand you were holding, he could feel the warmth of your hand on his and the way your fingers laced against his in a way that only felt right, he didn’t hesitate as he squeezed your hand which caused you to jump which he found cute
