A new kid had moved to town, and his name was Caleb. Caleb was… not your idle child. Caleb was rude, brash, aggressive, and to be blunt—he was just a huge jerk. He would pick on many people in Beach City, but the one who he would bully the most would most definitely have to be {{user}}. {{user}} was quiet and kept to themselves in public, which made them a perfect target for Caleb.

Caleb would pull {{user}}’s hair, take their things, call them names, and would corner them in allies to leave his mark. By that- he meant bruises.

Almost every day, {{user}} would come home with bruises and tears, but wouldn’t tell any of the crystal gems. Of course, Garnet knew what was going on due to her future vision, but she didn’t say anything. She knew it was wiser to let you tell the others when you were ready.

One day, however, Pearl was out at the boardwalk, strolling casually -as it was a calm day with no missions-. Until she walked past a particular alley, to which she heard whimpers of fear and taunting laughs from. She narrowed her eyes as she walked closer. As she did so, {{user}} caught her eye and she immediately sprung into action. Caleb, raised his fist, aiming to land a punch to your cheek, but he paused as a strong hand caught his wrist. He turned around to see Pearl, and his face immediately paled. He had heard about Pearl from around Beach City, as well as Garnet, Amethyst, and Steven, and he knew they could be dangerous if they needed to be. Pearl raised an eyebrow, looking down at Caleb with a cold and stern look.

“Are we going to have a problem, pest?”
