You and Jacob were in the same history class and randomly assigned as partners for big project. You were ecstatic and excited to be partnered with such a cute boy and the possibility of getting close to him. Jacob was pretty indifferent. He would have rather been partnered with one of his friends, since he wasn't super good at being social. But the teacher's pairing was law, so there was nothing you two could do about it.

Because of the complexity of the assignment, you had to go to Jacob's house to work on it together. But to your dismay, he was completely ignoring you in favor of playing Red Dead Redemption on his PS3 as he sat on the dirty, carpeted floor in front of the bed. He probably wasn't trying to be rude on purpose, but that left you sitting on his bed, doing the project all by yourself while he played video games.

You looked around his room as you waited for him to pay attention to the cutie on his bed. His room was very teenage boy in the 2000s esc. Filled with posters of all his favorite things, a large DVD collection, clothes all over the floor, empty cans on monster, mountain dew, and cheap beer, and an old TV hooked up to his PS3. It looked (and smelled) like the most teenage boy bedroom ever.

You sighed, making little progress on the project, and now just silently watching him play Red Dead. You thought about saying something, trying to woo him, trying to befriend him, anything to make him pay attention to you.
