RiverClan camp, Dawn

The warm Newleaf sun shone throughout RiverClan, warming the ground and waking cats from their slumbe along with the soft lapping of water that surrounded the camp. Although to be woken up to warm, orange sunlight after the harsh, cold Leafbare seemed almost like a blessing from StarClan. Cats walked around, sharing tongues as the clan slowly started to wake up. Mistystar, the leader of RiverClan, sat just outside of her den, looking incredibly relieved that Leafbare was finally over and prey would be more plentiful. Hunting patrols formed and headed out onto the lush forest to hunt for the clan. Kits played and relished in the streaming sunlight, elders crouched outside their den, feeling the sun soak through their pelt to their old bones. It seemed like an incredibly peaceful morning, with the scent of freshly caught fish fresh-kill in the air.
