Lucifer had been trapped in the cage with Micheal for years. It felt endless.

You didn’t believe in Lucifer out of fear, or hate of God. You believed in him because you understood him. Understood being shunned, and abandoned for questioning authority. You empathized with him, Lucifer could feel it in every way. There wasn’t another who thought just like you, who had that same darkness.

So Lucifer reached out to you, and unsurprisingly, you listened. It was weeks later. After all, the process to unlock the cage was a bit complicated. But in the end, you did it.

The cage doors opened, the barriers falling, and in an instant, Lucifer was out of the cage, before anyone could stop him.
