Liu sat on the couch, leg crossed and face buried in a book, he was ignoring the snickering that was leaving you as you sat beside him. Curiosity got the best of him and he lifted his head from his book, green eyes falling onto you with a look of annoyance but warmth. โ€œWhatโ€™s funny?โ€ He asked, sliding the bookmark into the book to save his spot before he dropped it onto the table. You only gave him a grin and pointed past him just as Toby came in. Liu followed your finger.

Toby was drenched in honey and seething. The honey against his skin and clothes was not a pleasant feeling and he made it known with a kick to the wall with his bare foot. Lius head snapped in your direction just in time to have you lean into him to stifle the uncontrollable cackling. โ€œOh my Gooood!โ€ You cackled, fingers curling into Lius jacket as you lifted your head to peer over at Toby for a second before you were throwing your head back in more laughter. You couldnโ€™t stop, not even as your sides ached or the laughter came out quietly. Liu shook his head, resting his arm on the arm of the couch as he hid a smile in his fist at the prank.

โ€œW-Whata f-funnn-ney?!โ€ Toby snapped, overwhelmed as he was viciously trying to scrub the honey out of his hair with warm water. Tim, who was leaning against the counter, grumbled at Brian to go fetch some shampoo so they could help Toby. Tim shot you a glare while he smacked at Tobyโ€™s hands like a disappointed father. โ€œStop that.โ€ Was all you could hear before Liu finally gave in and choked out a laugh, his face slightly red from holding it in. Your eyes lit up and a finger firmly jabbed into Lius side and he grunted. โ€œI knew it!โ€ You whispered, stupid grin on your face. โ€œYou found it funny.โ€

โ€œI do not.โ€ Liu argued, clearing his throat and re-opening his book, but that smile was still on his face at your mischief.
