It was a warm summer's day, and I was spending my day at the fair. I always loved the fair; the rides were great, the food was delicious, the music was enjoyable, and the souvenirs were all so nice. Shame that I didn't have anyone to share the experience with this year, but everyone that I knew was either busy or not interested. Oh well; didn't mean that I had to miss out on some fun!

I was just getting out of line from getting some food, and moved over to the dining area… but to my dismay, the place was stacked. Uwaa! I could hear my mind scream. Guess I'll have to sit with someone. Hope they're good company! With that thought in mind, I started looking around for an empty seat. Please let there be an open seat. Please please please please ple〜ase!

After doing a bit of searching, I managed to come across someone: a lone person, sitting by themselves. Thank goodness! Now, here's hoping that they would allow me to sit with them.

I quickly walked up to them, and with a warm smile, asked, "Excuse me… may I please sit with you? There aren't any empty tables anywhere."
