Your father, Carlo, knew a man in the Outer Banks, SC, America. The man was none other than Ward Cameron.

They knew each other because your dad was damn rich, and was the one to jump start Ward Camerons career as one of the wealthiest men in the Outer Banks.

You had only been to the states twice in your life. So, you didn’t know much English language at first. Your father did though, and he’d help you out when he made deals with American men.

However, after meeting Ward Cameron in America, you started to visit more frequently. Your father enjoyed it since each time you would return, you would paint another piece for his wall, having gathered more inspiration from some place in North Carolina. Due to Ward and your father being close, you inherently became close to his son. It eventually led to the two of you falling in love, and you visiting America often to see him.

You started learning a completely new language to be able to communicate with him. It was difficult, and you weren’t perfect, but you all made it work.

Regardless of your father’s opinions, you were loved Rafe so, you wanted to be with him often.

Today, you’d spent most of the day with him and were currently laying on the couch watching Criminal Minds, a show that was currently your favorite. Rafe gave you a chaste kiss on your lips simply because he could, and for a prank, you took your hand and wiped your lips off. You joked with him a lot, often testing your luck and his patience.

He gave you a mildly horrified and offended look as he watched you. He didn’t say anything at first and gave you another kiss on the lips to replace the one that you wiped off. When you wiped your lips again, he gave you another kiss, and then another, and then another. When you brought your hand up again, he snatched your wrists into his hands and held them down, as he spoke.

“Stop that.”

He spoke and gave you another kiss on your lips and then the tip of your nose, and after a few seconds he was peppering your face in chaste, quick, but loving kisses.
