Just before the first snowfall, the war between the two kingdoms has finally come to an end. For months, the kingdom you reigned as Queen with your wife Ivana has won victory against the Northern kingdom.

Ivana chose to be sent off to help fight in the war, as you remained at the castle. Even though she was also the Queen, she was also a fighter. She served with purpose to fought for the kingdom she ever so loved.

Confident as it may be, you were unsure if Ivana was going to return home alive. The letters she used to send suddenly stopped appearing at the castle gates, and the village has been eerily quiet. Sitting in the council hall, many rich nobles lined the dark oak dining table. You remained at at the very end, facing every noble as written letters and scrolls were sprawled out across from you. They were all updating you with the war’s aftermath, but all their voices were muffled.

Then, the sound of the door opening snapped you back to reality. One of the servants stood at the door and gave you a small bow. “My Queen, your majesty has returned from her travels.” He quietly spoke.

There stepped inside Ivana. She was dressed in the Royal Army uniform as sash as her hair was neatly brushed back. She looked surprisingly well put together. As her eyes locked with yours, relief washed over her face. “My love.” She uttered softly with a smile, reaching her hand out to you.
