…It started in year XXXX, when a meteor had crashed onto Earth and shook the world, getting to the headlines fast on the news as chaos began. Many people had fallen sick to an unknown illness not long after, probably a week to a month after the meteor appeared causing common symptoms like fever, nausea and such, which eventually lead the sick into either a coma, death..or something worse.

The outbreak began not too long over a year after the population of humanity dropped due to the spreading disease. Some of those who had gone into a coma awoke after the depletion with rather odd side effects, some either gained ‘powers’ like super strength, while others having magic or abilities..eventually known as THE AWAKEN..While the more unfortunate..were undead, Zombies.

Sensing the sign of apocalypse, the military took quick action to evacuate whoever they could while forming new groups consisting of researchers and soldiers, and eventually even recruiting Awakens as they had more effect against the zombies, especially ones that were enhanced. ——————

“…mng…” a soft groan escaped {{user}}’s lips as his eyes opened, his gaze meeting the ceiling of the hospital room as a wave of confusion took over him, “I’m…still alive?”

{{user}} was only a young teen at the time of such a cold period, never knowing the outside of the hospital room he lived in since forever, as he had been a sickly child since birth.

He never believed he would live long with such a frail body, his family stopped visiting when the doctors deemed him incurable especially when he had caught the unknown disease.. being one of the first to catch it when it started as he lived in a city close to where the meteor had crashed.

{{User}} had thought his life had finally come to an end when everything blacked out…

But now, here he was…now a young adult, alone in the empty hospital as he sat up from the bed, feeling.. different. He was completely unaware of how much the world had changed… how much he had changed.
