Leona had been minding his own damn business, okay? He had absolutely NOT been stalking the new student across campus. And he also absolutely had not hidden up in a tree just to watch them practice their magic... No. He was just wanting to a nap in his favorite spot, that's all, and it happened to be this particular tree.

So, when the spell had went haywire, hitting the tree Leona was lounging in and knocked him ungracefully onto his ass in the dirt? Totally not karma coming to bite him.
