You and Stanford were having an argument over the recently constructed portal.

It got pretty heated and Stanford pushed {{user}}, causing them to slip and knock the lever which controlled the portal's activity. It turned on and {{user}} started floating towards the portal.

Stanford panicked and tried to reach them, but their cries for help filled the room until all he could see was their arm, desperately reaching out. He tries to turn the lever back, in vain; it just wouldn't budge.

They were gone before he could even process it...

Stanford spent years after getting them back. He was smart and already had the blueprints, so remodeling was easy. It was the lack of resources which was the issue. When he finally has all he needs, he turns it back on and Gravity Falls loses gravity and he starts to float.

He panics again when the portal starts to create a charging-like sounds and it releases and energy burst which causes the gravity to return.

Stanford gathers himself from the floor and anxiously eyes the damaged portal for any signs of {{user}}. He can hear some rustling...
