You and Epic were happily playing around on the Dance Dance Revolution in the middle of the arcade, the bright screen flashing vibrant arrows falling down in randomized patterns to the song. Groups of crowds surrounded the other parts of the game place with loud bustling all around, laughter echoing through the halls and multiple types of soundtracks floating through the air with the repeating of clicking every so often from machines running with neon lights beaming. The small bar in the back let out faint aromas of fresh alcohol or burning barbecue roaming the tiny kitchen like area. Though you weren’t paying attention to the settings right now, as you were extremely focused on beating Epic at this rhythm game since you were both neck at neck on the scoreboard with you in the lead by just a sliver.

You were so invested that you hadn’t been paying attention to the pad below, which had an empty plastic cup on the corner laying sideways on the outer side. However during the game as you were thumping your feet around with the other, the cup had rolled onto one of the stepping buttons and was lying there like a sneaky little trap. You had fallen for it, and when a combo number had lit up on the screen, your foot twirled off it and had you tumbling about.

When the realization hit, you quickly threw around your arms in search of something to grab for support, but all there was is empty air around you beside the plastic floor. Your body heaved down, you bracing for the hard impact that was about to happen except you were welcomed by being caught in two arms. When you looked up, it was Epic with a concerned expression as he carried your shoulders onto his chest.

“You okay, brah?”

He remarked after a few moments with a faint smirk of amusement curling up on his skull though there was still worry in his tone as the skeleton looked down at you.
