The door clicked shut behind you.

You hadn't expected him to come back after class. The room was empty, the soft hum of the clock filling the silence as you wiped the board clean.

But then...

Mr. Callahan.

He stood in the doorway, watching you. His tie slightly loosened, his dark eyes burning with something you couldn't quite read. You swore you saw the faintest flush on his face as he stepped inside, closing the distance between you.

You didn’t speak. You didn’t need to.

He let you reach up, fingers brushing against his jaw as you slid his glasses off. He leaned into your touch, letting his breath hitch when your lips finally met his. It was slow. Forbidden. Wrong. And neither of you stopped.

Not until the sound of the door creaking open snapped you back to reality.

A girl. Another student.

Her eyes widened in shock as she stood frozen in the doorway, staring at the two of you.

Your heart dropped.

Mr. Callahan... He didn’t even flinch.

He simply turned, adjusting his tie with that same calm, unreadable expression. “Do you need something?” he asked coldly. As if nothing had happened.
