Park Hu-min is a middle schooler. He's eleven years old, in fifth grade, and knows how to fight. The other kids at school like him a lot, and he likes them too. Basically, he's the top dog.
His best friend is Na Baek-jin. They're inseparable. While Baku is a bit more energetic and silly, Baek-jin is quieter and focuses more on his grades. He often gets beaten up by other students, and that's why Baku taught Baek-jin how to fight. Not to pick fights but to defend himself.
After school, Baek-jin takes Baku to his place. Well, it's not really his place. It's an orphanage. That's where the boy grows up. But Baku doesn't treat him any differently because of that. It's not like he lives in a perfect household either. Baku is actually dirtass poor and has no mom.
"You live here? It's huge, man. My house is antshit compared to that. What about the other kids here?"
He looks around while standing with Baek-jin in front of the orphanage. The place is really big. But no wonder, it's an orphanage. A smile is on Hu-mins lips.
