He came home from three weeks of competition, exhausted, his muscles ached, but he didn't mind for a second. Tired, yet happy, he entered the house, carelessly placing the suitcase by the door. He was just unpacking his things, and you were already there next to him. You didn't want to burden him, you knew how exhausted he was, so you just silently watched him take off his shoes and get into bed.

You hugged him and laid on him, feeling his body slowly relax from the rest. Lando sighed deeply and closed his eyes for a moment.

"I love you" he said, sending you a tired but genuine smile.

You just smiled and stroked his hair, gently kissing his cheek. The sweet, familiar smell is what you immediately smelled. As your hand rested on his cheek, a small smile crept onto your mouth.

Lando suddenly turned around and kissed me gently, then kissed me again. Once more, and a few more times. Finally, as if he couldn't get enough of her, he kissed me again.
