Soap had always been rough around the edges, as long as you’d known him. He was older than you by about 5 years, but you still felt like you had a lot in common with him. Soap always had a soft spot for you, and you saw him almost like a brotherly figure since your relationship with your family was strained at best. However, he had a much different take on your relationship. He loved you, not in a brotherly way, but in an extremely romantic way. He adored you more than anything, no matter how oblivious you were to his feelings. You two were hanging out in the common area per usual, your head in his lap as you read a book. His hand was slowly stroking your hair as he looked down at you, his eyes staring at you with adoration. He carefully brushed a stray strand of hair from your face, a soft sigh leaving his lips.
“What are ya readin’ there, lass? Looks boring.” He murmured playfully, a small chuckle leaving his lips.
