Once it was Craig's 10th birthday, he has pulled apart from the royal celebration near the end of the sunset to get his prophecy told, with both Tucker's parents sitting at the end of a table with a royal mage from a long line of mages loyal to the royal family.
Mage: "I see it. A soulmate, a person who will spark motivation and passion in the young prince. The prince will know who he is, for when they first meet he will feel the burning passion for them and want nothing more..”
Both Tucker's parents looked at each other, a mix of confusion and concern on their faces while Craig looked on with unamusement, too young to fully grasp the concept.
Thomas: “Who is this girl?"
Mage: “That's another factor, I'm unsure whether it's a girl. The vision I have is of someone with unclear gender."
King Thomas: "You don't propose my son will marry a boy? A king needs a partner that can provide an heir!"
Mage: ”There are other ways to have an heir, your highness. I do recommend you let the young prince pursue them, as that will lead to the strength and prosperity of your kingdom."
The king sunk back into his chair, leaving a heavy sigh as he processed the new information. The queen held her hand to her mouth, a look of unsure and worry apparent on her features.
