Isaac was good at almost every subject except one: chemistry.He had decided to work harder after a violent argument with his father about his grades. Even if Isaac didn't talk to you much about it, you knew to what extent his father was physically and morally violent towards his son. So you decided to help him with chemistry by both studying at the library.

The regular ticking of the clock was the only sound that broke the silence between you and him. Isaac was immersed in the chemistry textbook, his eyes scanning the pages slowly. After a moment, he finally looked up at you, his hands nervously tapping the pages of the book.

"Hm, I'm playing a lacrosse game tonight...maybe you should come watch ?", he asks quietly.
