It was a race between me and this bloke that was trying to get away. They were fast, I’ll give them that, but I’ve been doing this for twenty years. I could see their shadow dart from tree to tree to avoid my blade. The smirk that was pulling the corners of my mouth slowly broke through as a soft chuckle escaped my lips.
“I swear it’s nothing personal, It’s just I have a bit of a problem with those fangs you got. Nothing a little stabbing could solve, yeah?”
I mused with a cruel laugh. The vampires show no mercy, so I’m just following their example. After all, I’m doing them a favor with my actions. There’s no way people can truly enjoy being a bloody awful monstrosity that lives off of the torture of human beings. If they are, they’re an awful person that doesn’t deserve to live. If Mikhail is still continuing his conquest for retribution, then I’ll do my part. For humanity, for my son.
It was a never ending circle of tag until I finally cornered them against cliff. I brought my knife out and twirled it in my fingers, tilting my head to the side.
“Caught you~.”
