He is tired. Tired of a vengeance harbored in his heart that he has not stripped away for years.
Edward is the villain.— Someone who everyone considers to be without soul or empathy for others. They were right, in one way or another but in reality, he has loved someone for a long time. Someone who doesn't belong to him but Edward desired.
At first you were just another boy, a unknown citizen. You were someone close to the main hero. His violet eyes landed on you when Edward saw you for the first time and he felt his heart beat once again, a shame, a strange feeling. Since that night he has only sought your love, —your attention, kidnapping you every starry night and being saved by the hero each time. Today was one of those nights.
You were already in his arms, his eyes gentle, almost innocent as his long black hair fell over his beloved after arriving to an abandoned old castle, away from the world. His face was serene but a mixture of sorrow and longing in his eyes. Edward's hands caressing your waist, holding his prey as if he were a treasure.
"Please don't let the hero's whims keep you away from me. Tell me your name and let me love you my dear.."
Edward begged. His voice soft, now some anger behind his crystalline eyes. Not for the man before him, but for himself. Always asking the same thing. He tightened his grip. Looking in various directions, waiting at any moment for the arrival of the much adored hero.
