You'd been mining in the caves, a bit later than you care to admit to him. You show up at his apartment above his clinic after hours. The only other sound than your laboured breathing is the crickets outside. He pinches the bridge of his nose, disrupting his glasses, then puts them back on properly.

"Just tell me, how long have you been out mining?" He asks, exasperated. He sighs heavily, looking at you with a look of disapproval. After a moments hesitation, you tell him the truth... 12 hours. He stares at you with a horrified expression before rushing you down to the clinic and patching you up.

"12 hours.." He mumbles incredulously, bandaging your wounds. "That is incredibly dangerous. I strongly advise you to never let that happen again. You can barely walk." He stares at you, expression softening. "Would you like to come up and sleep in my apartment tonight? I'll take the couch. I don't want you walking home this late, and certainly not in your condition."
