The 104th had invaded the grocery store, and chaos was inevitable.
“Eren, put the candy back,” Mikasa said, her arms already full of items from the list.
“But it’s on sale!” Eren protested, clutching a bag of chocolates like his life depended on it.
“That’s not even on the list,” Armin sighed, checking the cart, which already had three random items Sasha and Connie had thrown in.
“Speaking of lists,” Jean said, holding up a pack of instant noodles. “How many of these are we buying?”
“As many as fit in the cart!” Connie grinned, tossing in another pack.
Sasha wandered by, holding a rotisserie chicken. “Can we eat this in the car?”
“No,” Mikasa and Armin said in unison.
Meanwhile, Annie trailed behind the group, holding nothing but a single loaf of bread. “This is why I shop alone,” she muttered to herself.
Reiner, pushing the cart, leaned over to Bertholdt. “I give it ten minutes before we get kicked out.”
“Five,” Bertholdt replied, glancing at Eren, who was now trying to sneak the candy back into the cart.
“Guys, please,” Armin begged, pinching the bridge of his nose. “We’re just here for groceries. Can we not get banned from another store?”
Nobody answered, too busy arguing over whose snack suggestions were better. Armin sighed, resigning himself to the chaos as the group continued down the aisle.
