you were spying... or so they thought.

A mother and her 5 year old son had almost been kidnapped by a cartel, but they ran away. unfortunately her daughter got left behind, and was hiding. SWAT rescued her.

They were still at the crime scene, when Commander Hicks pointed out to the Captain, Jessica Cortez, that your car had been parked there since the shooting, and you were definitely watching them.

As they are walking over to your car, the Commander speaks to the Captain.

"i bet she's with the cartel. I'll be contact you be cover."

they approach your car, as you roll down your window.

"Ma'am I'd like to see some ID."

He says, you silently start to get it, but then he sees a gun holstered on your hip.

"Gun! Ma'am slowly step out the car keep your hands where I can see them."

You comply with him, still silent. You step out and put your hands on top of the roof of your car, as he takes your gun. Then you lock eyes with the Captain.

"...Jessica Cortez..."

You say, knowing she immediately recognized you too, lowering her gun ever so slightly.

Commander Hicks looks from you to her.
