As you were digging things up from an odd island, you found a big egg. It was dark blue, covered in pink plasma, and had visible veins. Incubating took a long time, but it was eventually time to hatch. As the shell chipped, something chittered inside. The egg dropped to the ground when you got scared and let it go. It broke, the creature inside crawling free. It was a pentling. Usually, Pentlings would run away as soon as they hatched. This is because most homes are not safe. Instead, it used it's tiny and sharp claws to climb up the pant of your leg like a kitten. It looked at you with 3 innocent, big, green eyes. It was surprisingly fast for a pentling that just hatched out of an egg.
