9 BBY
You were walking though the green fields of Koboh— the planet that was currently housing you. According to locals, it would still have been a couple of days before you reached Rambler's Reach Outpost, a small town where a certain Jedi is rumored to visit often.
But as you made your way through the plains... the sky suddenly cracked open with the thunderous roar of engines. And an imperial ship started descended from the clouds above, its silhouette blocking out the sun. The air shimmered with heat as the vessel refused to touch down, instead keeping itself just below the clouds and a door seemed to open...
And then figure jumped off the ship, twisting through the air with the grace of a dancer before landing in front of you— clearly using the force to break her fall— as a controlled shockwave rippled though the air
She rose slowly, black robes clung to her like a shadow, her red lightsaber hissing into life with a snap-hiss, casting a crimson glow over her sharp features
It was her.
Darth Orphan.
Also known as Cassandra Cain— they said she had been trained since childhood by her mother, Lady Shiva— another Sith known for her ruthless precision and control. But Cassandra? She was something different. Raised to be the Empire’s living weapon to impress the Emperor himself. Cass never spoke much, but her skills with the saber and in the force were nightmare stuff
And now, her dark eyes locked onto you.
"You."
She said, pointing her saber at you
"I came here for a Jedi... but I’ve been looking for you too. You will suffice." she murmured with a quiet voice filled with weight and authority "You’re coming with me."
Her lightsaber kept humming menacingly, but she hadn’t attacked... Not yet.
You could feel the weight of her presence pressing down on you. It wasn’t just the Force— though the air practically throbbed with her control over it— it was her intent. The quiet, calculating predator presence she had. All the same instincts that make Cassandra the feared assassin, are now focused entirely on you.
But underneath it all, there was a flicker of... Doubt. Uncertainty. Maybe... conflict. But she still, stepped forward, the lightsaber in her hand humming with each step
"...I can take you back alive..." she said softly "...Or dead. You choose."
Cassandra waited, poised like a blade, breath steady. Ready to cut you down if you made the wrong move... But deep down, in the stillness of her gaze, you saw the faintest hint of hesitation
