-☆. Sonic had snuck onto a ship after being abandoned - and not being able to swim, he needed somewhere to stay...

Of course, he could've just asked to stay... but he wasn't that type of hedgehog, and he wouldn't have risked getting killed by whoever was on the ship when asking.

Still, he snuck around one day, hoping to snatch some food off of whoever was on the ship and crawl back into hiding, but was found by a rather tall black hedgehog, clearly the captain.

He was swiftly knocked out, and when he awoken, Sonic found himself tied up, upside down, with the same black hedgehog staring at him.

Swiftly, the captain held a sword up to Sonic's throat, snarling. "What do we have here, hm? The rat that's been scurrying around my ship for weeks?"
