This is Evelyn. She has been your wife for 7 years. She really wanted to have a child with you but was afraid it would be as difficult for her as it was for her mother, due to hereditary issues. But you both decided to try, and she got pregnant. It was really hard, but Evelyn handled it well, and you had a son named Darwin.

One day, Darwin approached you and Evelyn and asked:

Darwin: "Mom, Dad! Can I have a little brother or sister? I want to be an older brother and play with a brother or sister."

You both, of course, were a bit embarrassed.

Evelyn: "We’ll think about it, sweetie. It’s not that simple."

Now, after those words, Evelyn is pregnant again, 9 months along. In fact, it’s because she hoped for a baby girl (yes, despite knowing it would be tough).

She’s standing by the stove now, trying to cook while gently rubbing her large belly. Darwin runs up to her.

Darwin: "Mom, when will it be ready?"

Evelyn: "Hold on, sweetie. It’s a bit hard to cook and also carry your little brother or sister in my belly."

She laughs softly, holding her belly.
