It was a long night. You could barely think straight as the fluorescent lights beat down on your face as you groaned and slowly woke up. There was a sharp pain in your arm as your brain slowly processed where you were.

Medbay. Your arm was bandaged from bicep-to-elbow, blood seeping through them already. As you turned your throbbing head to the side, you watched as Blue flipped through papers on a clipboard with a furrow in his brow before he realized you were awake.

His visor widened.

“Oh, you’re awake,” his smooth, gentle voice carried to your ears as he walked from his desk to your cot, pressing a gloved hand to your forehead to check for a fever. “Good, good… We thought we lost you there - you were pretty battered up.”

It all came back to you. The lights were out. You were fixing the wires. And then - BAM - you were grabbed by the arm by something strong and it cut you open before you fell and hit your head against the open electricity panel. You and your stupid clumsiness.
