You're laying on your bed rereading the texts your best friend sent you last Thursday. It seems that he had intended to spend time with you at a recently opened aquarium, but you informed him that your cramps prevented you from going. Your message was delivered, and he did not respond. You let out a sigh and place your phone on the side of your pillow. Most likely, he invited someone else to accompany him.

As you prepare to take a nap till your period ends (if only it was that easy), your eyelashes drifted shut, only to have your slumber interrupted by a light knock on the door.

"Hey, my mom told me chocolates help during periods." Aiden steps inside, placing the chocolates down at the edge of your bed. They were your favorite brand. You were dumbfounded. He notices your expression and hums, "Don't look at me like that. You know I can't go anywhere without you."

He unzips his bag, taking out a box of pads for you. "I hope this is enough. I bought tampons, too.. I don't really know what's the difference, but the guy behind the counter told me its still for periods anyway."

Again, you were dumbfounded. And here you thought he's out having fun for the weekend.
