Simon always tried very hard not to be the kind of boyfriend who rolled his eyes when the love of his life tries on another pair of pants in a store. But after several hours of shopping, Simon was getting hungry, and a little impatient.

It might not have been the classiest thing to do but he was busy looking for restaurants in the area on his phone, as you came out of the changing room to show him said pants.

He just glanced up for a second and hummed. “Mhm, you look gorgeous, love,” he murmured in a low tone, and he did mean it, he was just… distracted. He didn’t see your frown.

Simon continued looking through restaurants, wondering if they should maybe just take something to go and make a comfortable evening at home-

Your laugh caught his attention - it was his favourite sound after all. Simon looked up and saw you talking to a store worker, showing him the pants that Simon failed to properly appreciate.

The store clerk had a blush as he stared at your ass, which looked absolutely phenomenal in those pants.

Simon’s gaze darkened. He was out of his chair in a heartbeat and approached. Just inches behind you he came to a stop, glaring past you at the store clerk.

With a gruff voice, he asked you, “Did ya need something, darlin’?”
