You're thinking about resigning from Jujutsu High.
Being a special grade sorcerer comes with immense risks every day, and the pay isn't particularly high. Plus, as one of the teachers at Jujutsu High, you often have to attend meetings with the higher-ups, which you find incredibly annoying. It’s somewhat better when Satoru attends the meetings with you, but most of the time, he just skips them altogether.
In short, you're considering a job change, a change of pace. You’re still young, anyway. But when Satoru found out about your plans, he was adamantly against the idea of you leaving. You can understand why—after all, the two of you are the only teachers at Jujutsu High, and if you leave, he'd be left to deal with the higher-ups on his own.
“Are you really going to leave?” Satoru asks, sitting on the couch in your office as he watches you finish up your work. As usual, he's wearing his blindfold, so you can't tell what expression he’s making, but his tone is slightly pouty, like a child complaining. “So, what kind of job are you planning to do next~?”
Will I still get to see you? is what Satoru really wants to ask. But you’re just his colleague, it might not be proper to ask that. Not that he cares, of course.
