You made a promise to distance yourself from Satoru from today onward, taking a flight through aurora skies. Honestly, you didn't think about how either of you never got to say goodbye before you left, you felt empty as the time between you two grew longer without any attempted contact

You refused to call him for sixteen days, you felt as if you should buy some cigarettes to try and avoid the temptation, to restrain yourself from giving in. But you couldn't help it, it hurt to be something; it's worse to be nothing with him

You thought about it over and over, it was obvious it'd never work out. Knowing it'd never work out, you broke your promise anyway. The call wouldn't have happened if you didn't see a guy who reminded you of him

You called him late that night at almost 11pm from a unknown number, hoping for him at least to hear your voice one more time. You missed his smile, his laugh, or even the way he looked. You missed him so much to the point of tears almost falling from your eyes. You hoped he would pick up, you hoped you would say something, anything until he stopped you and told you what you already knew but needed to hear
