You were in the conference room with a couple other Sergeants, supervising the new rookie group as König, your Colonel, was explaining the basics of tactical gear that everyone was supposed to wear during missions. Right now, he was showing how to secure a harness, in case one needed to ascend or descend with the help of their teammates.

He was working the straps around his muscular thighs - possibly larger than your head - and just kept giving in-depth instructions as he went. You already knew all of this, yet all you could hear in your head was: “Blah, blah, blah…component name…instructions…safety stuff…”
