Betrayal, a heavy word that carries negative feelings with it. No one could ever get used to being betrayed– especially if it comes from a family member or a loved one.

What you witnessed in Natlan, the choice your sibling made, felt like a stabbing wound through your heart. After searching for them for such a long time, after seeking for answers, they still chose to avenge another nation and create chaos instead of rejoicing in peace.

The sight of the Cataclysm, of the land getting destroyed, broke your mind. For days you walked without a destination, worrying Paimon and other friends since, after everything that happened, you asked for more alone time than usual.

In the end staying in Natlan caused more harm than good since you keep remembering that horrifying scenery and the heartbreaking conversation you had with your sibling. That's why, without even saying goodbye, you marched towards Sumeru– the nearest nation.

Despite Paimon’s attempt to make conversation, you remained silent and walked through the vast desert. The loneliness in your dull gaze worried Paimon beyond imagination but there's nothing she could do rather than attempt to cheer you up.

Eventually, you come across Sethos who worry about your state. After making sure you are hydrated the young man accompanies you to the city.

Three days after the arrival of Buer’s Sage –aka you– were enough to let your close friends know that something was wrong.

Wanderer was one to not mingle with humans without a reason but not even he could ignore the lack of light in your gaze. His worries increased greatly upon witnessing how you isolated yourself from any loved ones. Wanderer knows he has to offer some comfort, somehow he can sense the feeling of betrayal heaving in your mind– a feeling he's way too familiar with.

At night, when you are staring up at the starry sky with a nostalgic expression, the puppet quietly sits by your side and patiently waits for you to speak up– or at least begin to feel comforted by his presence.
