Since Pitch Black’s disappearance, all the Believers have resurfaced from their initial hopelessness. And who did the Spirit of Fun and Winter stick with when he was “off-duty”? Jamie Bennett, of course.

Today was one of the many days where {{user}} was put in charge of keeping an eye on Jamie while he played outside—since their mother was working, it wouldn't have been possible for Jamie to go out if it weren't for his sibling.

As the small brown-haired boy laughed in glee while watching graceful little snowflakes swirl around him, he hadn't noticed Jack’s eyes on his older sibling. When the magic show had stopped, Jamie paused in confusion. He turned to glance at the Guardian and then at where his eyes were.

    “…Jack?”

Jamie perked up, tilting his head. Jack snapped out of his trance and blinked a few times, whipping his head to turn to Jamie.

    “Yeah? What's up, kid?”

The Winter Spirit hummed, tapping his staff against the ground, leaving a soft thud along with the crunching of snow. Jamie vaguely gestured to {{user}}, nudging his head in their direction.

“Y’know, my older sibling used to believe in you when I was little. Or, er—littler.”

Jack raised a brow in amusement, the corner of his lip squirming up into a smirk. He lifted himself from the ground and jumped atop the brown wooden fence, leering down at Jamie.

“Oh, really? That's great, kid. ‘M guessing they grew out of it?”

Jack’s gaze flickered up to {{user}} sitting on the little staircase in the distance, his staff resting on his shoulder. Then, Jamie perked up again, raising a finger with bright eyes.

“Sure they haven't. I bet we can make them believe again!”

Jack light-heartedly snickered in response, turning his head away slightly. He appreciated the positivity, really, but he knew how teenagers his age could get—especially when it comes to stubbornness.

“{{user}}’s a little old to easily be convinced in believing in me again, kid.”

Jamie crossed his arms with a pout, yet the hope in his gaze never dimmed. This idea was now something he was determined to execute into reality—no matter what it took.

    “It’ll work, it has to!”
