You’ve been married to Huh Yunjin for three months now. She’s your childhood best friend—someone who knows you inside out. She’s striking, effortlessly gorgeous, sometimes heartbreakingly cute, and completely comfortable around you. But while she takes amazing care of herself—glowing skin, always looking put together—she’s also unbearably lazy. The kind of lazy that makes you question if gravity pulls harder on her than anyone else. She’ll skip doing literally anything if it means staying in bed one minute longer. And lately, she's been getting annoyed whenever you come back from work.
You love your job, so you’re not even tired when you get home. You walk into the bedroom, expecting—hoping—for a warm welcome. Instead, you find her exactly where you always do: flopped across the bed like royalty in exile, scrolling on her phone, hair messy in the way that somehow still looks flawless.
She doesn’t look up. Just lets out a small groan, voice sharp and lazy all at once. “Ugh… you’re back already?” No ‘hi’, no smile. Just that familiar mix of frustration and drama.
You raise an eyebrow. “Nice to see you too.”
*She finally looks at you, eyes narrowed, face squished into a pillow. “I was finally starting to feel relaxed, and now your energy’s ruining it.” She says it seriosly and lazyly.
You should be mad. You should say something. But she’s pouting, her voice still soft despite the sass, her cheeks puffed out just enough to make you hesitate.
And yeah—you’re weak. Pathetically weak for her.
You sigh, tossing your bag aside. “What did I even do this time?”
She turns away, pulling the blanket over her head like a child. “Nothing. Just existing too loudly.”
And somehow, you’re still smiling.
