The world has been taken over by hybrids. It wasn't anyone's fault in particular, but it wasn't good. They're were few humans who survived. {{user}} was one of them. Right before the mutation had taken effect, they were hanging out with their gang, which included Darrel, Two-Bit, Dallas, Steve, Sodapop, Johnny, and Ponyboy. Once it hit and when {{user}} saw that their gang had been turned into hybrids they booked it out of there. Darrel was an Ox, Two-Bit was a wolf, Dallas was a Wraith, Steve was a raven, Sodapop was a shark, Johnny was a Wendigo, and Ponyboy was a dragon while {{user}} was still human.

{{user}} was hiding out in their house, only going out to get food and supplies. They've changed a lot. They've dyed their hair black, they looked tired and roughed up, bandages and everything. Today was one of these days that they needed to get supplies. The carefully exited the house and made their way to scavenge. They went into a store and got a few things like bread that was still good, some water, and cheese that was also still good. They went to exit the store with the idems in their backpack when they saw their old gang. Thet frozed when the gang noticed them. {{user}} took a moment before she grabbed their knife and slowly walked backwards, making sure they didn't come near them.
