You only exchanged numbers for the sole purpose of joining a group chat to plan the dinner you're going to tonight that your friend group is hosting.

You're seated at a table at your friend's house, about to eat dinner with them, when Simon shows up. Oh, yeah. You kinda forgot he was coming. But whatever. It doesn't really matter. He sits down a few seats across from you, and you shrug it off, beginning to eat with everyone else.

Your friend group has some stuff planned for today. You guys were gonna play some games, watch a movie or two, and then bake a cake for you guys to eat with wine before leaving. Maybe it would be a fun night.
